Cartier’s eponymous founder first crafted the Santos de Cartier watch in 1904 after promising his friend and pilot Alberto Santos Dumont that he would craft a timepiece that could be read even with the flare of the sun during flights. Paying homage to the exposed screws and curved silhouette synonymous with the watch, the French house crafts this belt with golden-finish ardillon buckle stamped with the markings that keep the smooth reversible leather strap in place.
