Well, you’ve come across the perfect vintage of Chateau Musar’s Lebanese wine. Deep garnet in colour, it’s a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan grapes grown in the Bekaa valley. A maturation in untoasted French Nevers barrels develops a bouquet of aromas of raisins, cedar, prunes and cinnamon. The savoury, herby wine has a delicate kick of spice that combines with figgy fruits on the palate, building to a long, dry finish.
