Founded in the late 1800s, Steiff has been in the toymaking business for longer than most. In fact, the brand was the first to invent the classic teddy bear; a mohair creation complete with twinkling button eyes and an embroidered face. Today, the German label still crafts traditional teds – as well as a wide range of other, collectable soft toys – which are destined to become treasured family friends for years to come.
