When Lorna Watson dreamt up STELAR in 2017, the trained goldsmith hoped to restore age-old techniques while working directly with Balinese artisans to provide a platform for indigenous skills. A case in point? The vegan Uluwatui basket bag. Fitted with twin top handles, this structured design is handwoven from organic atta grass that’s grown on the land of its makers and harvested by their families. (Height 17.5cm, width 35cm, depth 23.5cm).
