Uniquely located, you’ll find the Japanese Hakushu distillery in the forest foothills of Mount Kaikomagatake. A region known for water rich in minerals, it gives the whisky a pleasant and gentle flavour. An extremely rare vintage, this 25 year-old single-malt boasts a rich sherried palate with smokey sweet notes of wood smoke, rhubarb and walnut. Opening on the nose with notes of toffee apples and ginger, it graduates to a nutty finish.
