The Lakes Distillery hails from Cumbria’s Lake District – think rolling green hills, tumbing fells and sparkling expanses of water. An artistic exploration of its sherry-led, unpeated house style, the Whiskymaker’s Reserve No. 5 single malt is the latest iteration of this series. It’s also the most unique so far, with notes of nutty baklava, candied papaya, sweet tagine spices and warm wood, leading into a vibrant, creamy finish tinged with toasted brown sugar.
